Routine Analysis of Porphyrins in Urine

[摘要] Procedures are described that utilize an anion exchange resin for preliminary purification of porphyrins from highly colored urine specimens. Following purification, porphyrins may be quantitatively determined by a spectrophotometric method. A procedure is outlined for routine screening of porphyrins in the urines of hospital patients.
