STATE-OF-THE-ART IN JAPAN ON CONTROLLING WIND-BLOWN SAND ON BEACHES

[摘要] In order to prepare general guidelines for controlling the wind-blown sand in the region from the shoreline to the landward end of the dry beach, a literature review was carried out. The review showed that controlling wind-blown sand on a beach surface can be done by using a suitable combination and arrangement of sand fences and trenches.
