MAJOR RECLAMATION SCHEME FOR MARINA CITY, SINGAPORE

[摘要] One of the most ambitious coastal reclamation projects in the Republic of Singapore to reclaim 360 hectares is now in progress and, when completed in 1985 at an estimated cost of S$385 million, will provide a major portion of the lands required for the development of Singapore's new city centre to be known as Marina City. This paper describes the various activities involved in the planning, design and construction of the project.
