LONGSHORE CURRENT FORCING AT A BARRED BEACH

[摘要] The FRF site is located along a 100-km unbroken stretch of barrier island formation known as North Carolina's "Outer Banks." There are no littoral barriers to perturbate incoming wave trains along the entire reach of shoreline. The site has a tidal range of 0.5 to 2.0 m and regular offshore bathymetry.
