MOVABLE-BED EXPERIMENTS OF SHANTOU HARBOR

[摘要] The paper, based on the macroscopic analysis of the sediment movement, deals with the movable-bed model experiments of the coast under the combined action of the wave and tidal current. By these experiments we mainly desire to solve the problem of the way how to regulate the outer sandbar, including the rational trend of the guide dike, its length and the expected siltation amount in the navigation channel.
