FLUSHING BEHAVIOUR OF A COASTAL MARINA

[摘要] The flushing characteristics of a newly constructed marina were determined from a comprehensive field study which included a dye dilution experiment together with measurements of barotropic and baroclinic forcing parameters. The results to be presented show that the major exchange process in this particular marina is a baroclinic circulation, and that the exchange rate is controlled by the harbour entrance geometry.
