LITTORAL DRIFT PROBLEMS IN PORTUGAL WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE BEHAVIOR OF INLETS ON SANDY BEACHES

[摘要] After a brief description of the littoral drift regimen in the west and south coasts of Portugal, review is made of the behavior of the works performed in three lagoon inlets located on these coasts and some general principles are inferred which are felt to be valid in the treatment of any similar problems.
