THE CONTROL OF WAVE ASYMMETRIES IN RANDOM WAVES

[摘要] The concept of wave asymmetry is reviewed and a prototype wave record is analysed. A three stage non-linear transformation, together with a Fourier transform substitution technique, is described. The method is tested by numerical simulation using statistical analysis procedures. Physical realizations are compared graphically.
