INTERFERENCE OF SMALL STRUCTURES IN THE VICINITY OF LARGE STRUCTURES

[摘要] The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of large structures in the vicinity of small structures in the determination of wave forces on the small structures. The structures considered in this study are circular cylinders and analytical expressions are derived. It is shown that if the small cylinders are placed in close proximity of large cylinders (center distance/ caisson radius < 2.0) , the wave forces on the small cylinder are largely influenced by the large cylinder.
