WAVE OVERTOPPING OF VERTICAL STRUCTURES INCLUDING WIND EFFECT

[摘要] The influence of both wave breaking and wind on the wave overtopping discharge of vertical sea-walls were assessed. In a qualitative way the influences of wave breaking agreed with the trends as pointed out by Goda (1985). The influence of wind on overtopping appears to be only relevant in specific conditions related to wave breaking. Even in these conditions the influence appeared to be smaller than expected.
