COUNTERMEASURES AGAINST WINDBLOWN SAND ON BEACHES

[摘要] Characteristics and functionings of prevention works for wind-blown sand are briefly reviewed and discussed. Then, guidelines for their use are given. In addition, new prevention works, including trench, movable porous sand fence, and large-scale sand ripples, are proposed according to the result of recent research.
