PERTINENT FACTORS IN THE PROTECTION OF THE GULF COAST

[摘要] Protection of the U. S. shores of the Gulf of Mexico against erosion or damage by waves, currents, or other littoral forces involves unique physical and economic conditions that make this area quite different from other shore regions. It is the purpose of this paper to discuss these conditions and the factors that contribute to them.
