SPECTRAL. COMPUTATIONS ON PRESSURE WAVE GAUGE RECORDS

[摘要] With a view to establish sea wave data processing procedures to be applied to records obtained at the Portuguese coast, a detailed study is made of different choices of certain parameters used in one-dimensional spectral analysis of a pressure wave gauge record Statistics computed by the selected spectral procedure are then compared with results of a Tucker-Draper analysis of the same record Finally a hindcast of sea conditions for the date and place of the record is made by different methods and comparisons with previous results are presented.
