EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE HYDRAULIC BEHAVIOUR OF INCLINED GROYNE SYSTEMS

[摘要] This paper presents the results of an experimental study on the behaviour of inclined groynes and a short discussion on the optimization of groyne systems It supplements a paper presented at the XI Coastal Engineering Conference (London, 1968) In the present paper both studies are applied to the design of a groyne system looated to the south of the Tagus estuary (near Lisbon)j where a serious erosion has been under way.
