PROTECTION OF MARITIME STRUCTURES AGAINST SHIP COLLISIONS

[摘要] This paper deals with the analytical and experimental studies on a new device to prevent the accidents of ship collisions with maritime structures. The practical protection device was designed on the basis of this study and it has been in use for the prevention of ship collisions of a class of 1,000 G/T with a boring tower for the geological survey of the sea beds of a narrow straits in which quite a many ships navigate.
