LOADS ON SLOPING SEADYKES AND REVETMENTS FROM WAVE-INDUCED SHOCK PRESSURES

[摘要] This paper deals with detailed studies on wave-induced pressures on sloping seadykes and revetments. The presented results are found as well from extensive field measurements at the coast of the German Bight as from full - scale laboratory tests in the LARGE WAVE CHANNEL (GWK) at Hannover, Germany. Summerizing the results, a generalisation of shock pressure occurence with respect to deterministic and stochastic charakteristics and a "dynamic" loading model is presented.
