TRANSFORMATION OF NONBREAKING WAVES OVER A BAR

[摘要] Data collected from measurements performed in waves propagating over a trapezoidal bar on a horizontal bottom are used to test a fully nonlinear numerical model. The experiments include both regular and random waves. Wave form evolutions in the shoaling region, the near resonant wave-wave interactions over the bar, and finally the decomposition behind the bar are well predicted. The results provide assurance for the reliability of the numerical model.
