DISPERSION PROCESS AND THE SETTLEMENT PATTERN OF MUD DUMPED IN OCEANS

[摘要] The settlement of mud lumps dumped in oceans from barges was studied theoretically and the results were compared with data from field and laboratory experiments. The settling pattern and the load of initial turbidity were estimated by a non-dimensional dispersion index and the rate of turbidity load.
