ON THE FITTING OF JONSWAP SPECTRA TO MEASURED SEA STATES

[摘要] A new technique has been described for the optimal fitting of JONSWAP model spectra to measured sea states. This technique, validated by numerical simulations, can provide enhanced estimations of the peak frequency, the peak enhancement factor and the significant wave height of natural seas.
