Governance and funding arrangements of NGOs in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa

[摘要] This study focused on governance and funding arrangements of NGOs in Kwa-ZuluNatal, South Africa. The primary objective of the study was to evaluate existinggovernance and funding arrangements of NGOs with the view to developing alternativeapproaches to governance and funding arrangements with specific reference to lessonsof experiences for Kwa-Zulu Natal NGOs. The study will develop a historical perspectiveof NGOs in South Africa, but it will be more focus at governance and fundingarrangements for Kwa-Zulu Natal NGOs specifically NGOs under Sisonke (HarryGwala) District.The secondary objectives of the study were to firstly develop a historical perspective'develop a set of conclusions and recommendations for the improved of the fundingNGOs in Kwa-Zulu Natal. All secondary objectives have been formulated in support ofthe primary objective and that these have been directly linked to the composition of thechapters in the study.
