Retardation by the soybean Bowman‐Birk inhibitor of elastin hydrolysis catalyzed by leukocyte proteinases
[摘要] The classical Bowman-Birk inhibitor from soya retards strongly the hydrolysis of elastin catalyzed by leukocyte elastase, cathepsin G and a mixture of both. The inhibitory effect is practically unaffected by both the adsorption of the enzymes on elastin and prolongation of the enzymatic reaction.
