This article explores the relation between the design requirements of ACI Tl.1-01, AC! Tl.2-03, and Section 21.6.3 of AC! 318-02 for hybrid connections and explains limitations in the use of pretensioned connections of the type used in the upper floors of the PRESSS Test Building.
