The new 7 5 ft (4.57 m) wide Mega Tee 7 5�? from High Concrete Structures, Inc. was loaded to full design capacity and then overloaded to failure in a test loading. The double tee exhibited exceptional performance, withstanding a load of nearly three times its normal design load before failure due to breaking of prestressing strands.
