This paper presents the results of field load testing two long span, prestressed single tee beams produced from sand- lightweight concrete. The test was conducted in accordance with Chapter 20 of the ACI Building Code. During the test, the beams exhibited excellent ductile and elastic behavior. Test results indicate that the beams performed satisfactorily and are suitable for their intended use as long span members.
