In the spring of 1997, Bayshore Concrete Products Corporation, Cape Charles, Virginia, came to Hamilton Form Company and asked the company to build three very unique custom steel forms. The forms would be used to cast 128 modular quad-tee bridge deck segments for the total reconstruction of the superstructure on the Robert Moses Causeway over Great South Bay in Suffolk County, New York. Bayshore had been awarded the contract for manufacturing and delivering the precast concrete products on this project.
