Glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) panels were selected as the dominant material to beautify the exterior facade of the $8. 1 million Redwood City Police Facility in Redwood City, California. Both straight and curved panels of various shapes and textures were used effectively. This article discusses the design features of the building, and the production and installation aspects of the GFRC panels.
