Significant changes made since the publication of the 2002 AC! 318 Building Code, which are reflected in the 2005 edition of the Code, were summarized in Part 1 of this article (September-October 2004 PC! JOURNAL). In addition to changes impacting conventionally reinforced concrete, provisions affecting precast/prestressed concrete, including posttensioned concrete, were enumerated. Changes in Appendix D, Anchoring to Concrete, not discussed earlier, are discussed in this Part 2 article.
