The author summarizes the significant changes made since the publication of the 1999 AC! 318 Building Code that are reflected in the 2002 edition of the Code, which is expected to be released early in 2002. In addition to changes impacting conventionally reinforced concrete, provisions affecting precast/prestressed concrete including post-tensioning are enumerated.
