Co() Complexes of Glycine Methyl Ester (). Preparation and Characterization

[摘要] Octahedral Co(¥²) complexes of the glycine methyl ester have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, and NMR spectrum. Co(¥²) glycine methyl ester complex has been isolated from the reaction of glycine and glycine methyl ester in aqueous solution by cation exchange resin, Dowex 50W-X8 (hydrogen form). It has been observed that the complexes have C1-cis(O-O), C2-cis(O-O), trans(O-O) geometry.
