The Synthesis of 5,5'-Diuracil and Its Derivatives

[摘要] Through the copper catalyzed coupling reaction a uracil dimer, 5,5'-diuracil was synthesized from 5-uracildiazonium salt. Several derivatives of above diuracil dimer were also synthesized. The structure of the dimer was determined from their spectral data.
