Studies on the Relation between Tolerance of Crop Plants against Soil Acidity and Changes in pH of the Tissue

[摘要] The pH values of the cytoplasm of definite tissues in the plant, especially susceptible to soil acidity, were observed to decrease decidedly when it was cultured with solutions adjusted at pH 4. It was found however, that the method might be improved in various ways more simple and efficacious.
