Some observations on fertilization in the yam plant of Tamba District.

[摘要] We have never found seeds developing in yam plant in Tamba District, Japan. Some causes for the matter were considered by the author according to his researches. Firstly, the wall of the anther did not break at any time. Secondly, the embryo sac did not perfectly develope by the time of flower-opening.
