Synergistic Action of Ethylene with Gibberellins in the Growth of Rice Seedlings

[摘要] Both ethylene and GAs (GA3 and GA-like substances extracted from plant materials) stimulated the growth of coleoptiles in rice seedlings under red light. A combined application was shown to be synergistic. Similar synergism was observed also in the growth of the first leaf sheath.
