DEBARYOZYMA YAMADAE SPEC. NOV.

[摘要] Two strains representative of an undescribed species of Debaryozyma, D. yamadae, have been recovered from samples of grassland soil and arboricolous lichen collected in South Africa. A description of the new species is given. The type strain of D. yamadae was found not to hybridize with two strains of the related species, D. melissophila.
