Impressionism: a parallel view of the painting and the music of the period

[摘要] For the purposes of this study, a very brief account has been given of the Impressionist movement in art and music, and an attempt has been made to illustrate the close relationship that existed between the two, and to show how closely the ideals, ideas, aims and desires of the two areas coincided and overlapped.
