[摘要] ENGLISH ABSTRACT: A generic flutter model was designed to be used in the 1.5 m low-speed wind-tunnelof Aerotek, CSIR. After manufacture, the model was calibrated and tested in theabovementioned wind-tunnel. The result of this design is a transport type modelwing of the spar/segment construction type, with flutter characteristics which can besummarised as follows: a flutter speed of 55.5 m/s and a flutter frequency of 9.25 HzThe named properties ensure that this model is ideal for use as a test vehicle in thestudy of aeroelastic phenomena, including active flutter control and active alleviationof dynamic loads.
