In vitro studies on tissue, cell and protoplast culture of the genus Paulownia

[摘要] ENGLISH ABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to establish an in vitro system of Paulownia species fororganogenesis and embryogenesis in tissue and callus cultures, cell suspension and cellculture, protoplast isolation and culture. Three species viz. P.fortunei, P.kawakamii,P.tomentosa which represent three sections of Paulownia genus were selected.P.taiwaniana was also included for comparative purposes since many in vitro studieshave been done on this species.
