Effect of EPTC on natural nodulation of Phaseolus vulgaris L.

[摘要] Three field experiments were performed on different soils, with application of EPTC at 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 kg/ha, to study its effect on natural nodulation of common bean.The nodules were sampled at flowering, counted and their dry matter weight was obtained. The seed production was obtained at har - vest.differences among number or weight of nodules due to any of the EPTC applied rates. In only one there was a significant reduction of yield due to the rates of 8 and 16 kg/ha of EPTC.
