Langerhans cell histiocytosis of the atlas in an adult

[摘要] A 26-year-old man presented with neck pain for 2 months and stiffness for 1 week. After acupuncture and physiotherapy, his symptoms gradually got worse, and he had to hold his head with his hands while sitting or standing up. The patient’s medical history was unremarkable. Physical examination demonstrated obvious restriction of the neck motion without neurological deficit or torticollis.
