RISCO DE CONTAMINAÇÃO DE ÁGUAS POR PESTICIDAS APLICADOS EM PLANTAÇÕES DE EUCALIPTOS E COQUEIROS: ANÁLISE PRELIMINAR

[摘要] Efetuou-se avaliação preliminar de pesticidas aplicados emplantações de eucaliptos e coqueiros no Nordeste brasileiroquanto ao risco de contaminação de águas superficiais esubterrâneas. Para tanto, foram utilizados os critériossugeridos pela Agência de Proteção Ambiental dos EstadosUnidos (USA), o índice “Growndwater Ubiquity Score”(GUS) e o método de Goss. Os pesticidas Tetradifon,Triclorfon, α-Endosulfan, β-Endosulfan, Sulfato deEndosulfan e Glifosato apresentaram potencial decontaminação das águas que exige monitoramento.Segundo os critérios avaliados neste estudo, os demaispesticidas investigados não apresentaram risco decontaminação.PESTICIDES APPLIED IN EUCALYPTUS AND COCONUT PALM PLANTATIONS:PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS Abstract A preliminary evaluation of pesticides applied in eucalyptus and coconut crops in NortheastBrazil was carried out on the contamination risk of ground and superficial waters. Forsuch, it was used the criteria suggested by the United States Environmental Protect Agency (EPA) and the “Groundwater Ubiquity Score” (GUS), and the Goss method. Thepesticides Tetradiphon, Triclorphon, α-Endosulfan, β-Endosulfan, Endosulfan Sulfateand Glyphosate showed considerable potential contamination of waters, which needmonitoring. The other pesticides researched didn’t show risk of contamination by followingthe criteria evaluated in this study.
