INSETICIDA ORGANOFOSFORADO METAMIDOFÓS: ASPECTOS TOXICOLÓGICOS E ANALÍTICOS

[摘要] Este artigo apresenta revisão bibliográfica sobre o inseticidaMetamidofós, incluindo suas características físico-químicas,riscos e casos de contaminação/intoxicação. Aborda osaspectos toxicológicos e analíticos do princípio ativo,apresentando as principais técnicas empregadas nadeterminação deste pesticida organofosforado em diferentesmatrizes. Potencialmente tóxico, o Metamidofós vem sendoempregado na agricultura mundial por ser eficaz no combatea diversas pragas. Conclui-se que a validação de métodosrápidos e seletivos é a grande preocupação na análise deMetamidofós e de pesticidas em geral.ORGANOPHOSPHORUS INSECTICIDE METHAMIDOPHOS: TOXICOLOGICALAND ANALYTICAL ASPECTS Abstract This article presents bibliographical review about Methamidophos insecticide, includingits physical-chemistry characteristics, dangers, intoxication and contamination cases. Itshows the toxicological and analytical aspects of the active principle, showing the mainanalytical techniques employed in the determination of such organophosphorus pesticidein different matrices. Potentially toxic, Methamidophos have been used in word crop forits efficiency to combat several kinds of pests. It was concluded that fast and selectivemethods validation is the biggest concern in Methamidophos and general pesticidesanalyses.
