[摘要] A second species ofVestigiumis described and contrasted withV. felicisknown from Oregon and B.C. onThuja plicata . The new species occurs on needles ofAbies balsameain New Brunswick and is compared withRhizothyrium abietis , the anamorph ofRhizocalyx abietis . Molecular studies of the new species show affinity with Chlorencoeliaceae, Dermateaceae, Hemiphacidiaceae or Hyaloscyphaceae.
