Development and Evaluation of Fire Retardant Cotton Fabrics
[摘要] References(11)A few compositions based on monoammonium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, orthophosphoric acid, urea and M-80 (a melamine formaldehyde resin) have been studied in order to impart durable fire retardancy to cotton fabrics. The treated specimens are tested for their burning and smoke generation characteristics, as well as strength and washability. The treatments may prove quite effective in reducing the hazards in case of cotton fabrics.
