If the detrimental effect ofaggression on the individual, as well as society, is taken into account, it becomesnecessary to conduct more research on the factors that can enhance and loweraggression. The main aim of this research was to gain insight into the relationship between levelof self-esteem, stability of self-esteem, locus of control, and aggression. An additionalaim was to establish whether male and female students differed in their level ofaggression towards men and women.
