Institutions and institutional change as explanation for differences in economic development – a study of the first three decades of the postcolonial experience of Zambia and Botswana

[摘要] Numerous theories have been constructed to provide reasons for economic growthdifferences between countries. As data became more readily available, cross-countryempirical studies identified a set of variables that contributed to economic growth, includingvariables such as the investment in human and physical capital.
