Design evaluation and redesign of a refrigerated semi-trailer structure using the finite element technique

[摘要] ENGLISH ABSTRACT:The finite element technique was used to do an in-depthdesign evaluation and optimisation of a 15.45-metrerefrigerated semi-trailer. Although the emphasis isplaced on finite element modelling and its application ona heavy transport vehicle, the paper covers the wholedesign evaluation and redesign process. Specialconsideration is also given to the manufacturing processas to ensure that the data generated can be implementedin an effective manner.
