It is not possible to differentiate morphologicallyE. ochroleucumfromE. duriaeiBoiss., s.l., and consequently the later and close related taxa are included in the former. The new combinationsE.ochroleucumsubsp.duriaei(Boiss.) G. López & Muñoz Garm.,E. ochroleucum subsp. neumannii(Polatschek) G. López & Muñoz Garm. andE. ochroleucumsubsp. gorbeanum (Polatschek) G. López & Muñoz Garm. are proposed.
