Studies of Neotropical Apocynaceae XXXIII: new synonymy and lectotypifications in the Amazonic species of the genusMandevillaLindl. (Apocynoideae, Mesechiteae).

[摘要] In preparation of the Catalogue of Apocynaceae for Colombia and a synopsis of the genusMandevillaLindl. in Brazil, the following synonyms are proposed:M. glabraN.E. Brown andM. uleiK. Schum. ex Markgr. as synonyms ofM. subcarnosa(Benth) Woodson,M. thevetioidesMarkgr. andM. manaranaMorillo as synonyms ofM. nerioidesWoodson, andM. spruceana(Müll. Arg.) K. Schum. andM. stephanotidifoliaWoodson as synonyms ofM. javitensis . Lectotypes are designated forAmblyanthera spruceanaMüll. Arg.,Echites javitensisKunth,E. subcarnosusBenth.,Mandevilla glabraN.E. Brown,M. thevetioidesMarkgr., andM. uleiK. Schum. ex Markgr. and a neotype is proposed forM. dielsianaMarkgr.
