A framework for using experiential learning theory to develop game-based learning
[摘要] ENGLISH ABSTRACT: This study explores experiential learning and game-based learning to determine howexperiential learning can be used to support game-based learning design inworkplace settings. The study used a non-empirical concept analysis methodologyfor exploring the potential conceptual links between experiential learning and gamebasedlearning. During the concept analysis, which included a detailed literaturereview, the links, interrelatedness and connections between the concepts emergedthat showed experiential learning can be used as a conceptual foundation for thedevelopment of game-based learning. Finally, the integration of experiential learningand game-based learning can assist organisations to enhance learning byconsidering the implications of the study in future game-based learning development.
