Fossil material of turtles from San Buenaventura Nealtican, Puebla is described and commented. According to its morphologic characteristics this material is referred to the genus Trachemys, which represents the first fossil record of this genus for the State of Puebla and a new locality with herpetofauna for the Pleistocene of Puebla.
